Armed Priority Transport

Armed Priority Transports or APTs were small cargo ships used by governments, corporations, and other organizations. Strategically faster and tactically more maneuverable than the pod-based freighters, APTs were the "pick up trucks" of the Star Fleet Universe. They handled mostly short-range non-scheduled missions, doing whatever the owning group suddenly realized needed to be done. There is an armed cutter version of this ship used for local security.

Star Fleet Intelligence analyst Joan Soxten said that these ships were "apt to get into trouble and not big enough to get out of it."

The ships of the Starline 2500 series are cast in pewter, have supremely high detail, and are in a larger (1/3200) scale than the earlier, metal 2400 series of miniatures. The ships of either series will work with Star Fleet Battles, Federation Commander, A Call to Arms, or Starmada.

This product is being done as a joint venture with Mongoose Publishing Ltd., under the strict terms of ADB, Inc.'s contract with Paramount Pictures Corporation.
