Romulan SeaHawk

The frigate version of the "Hawk" series of Romulan warships, it was all but obsolete before it was finished. By that late in the General War, any frigate that appeared in a fleet battle was likely to be targeted by an enemy volley and exploded in the first round of fighting. Even so, there was a need for "small ships for small jobs" such as pickets, colony and convoy guards, and patrolling the flanks of larger forces, and the Romulans were running out of the Snipes built before the War and the Klingon frigates bought before the War.
