Often known simply as “the Federation,” this empire is the strongest and most economically aggressive. Without a few wars to slow them down, the Federation (due to its booming economy, the result of freedoms not seen elsewhere) might make enough profit to simply buy the other empires in a century or two. The Federation has never invaded another empire and only fights defensive wars; then again, more than one of its neighbors objected to where the Federation placed its borders.
